c) Monetary Donation
Full name, email, phone number, donation amount, and optionally your PAN and address (for tax receipt purposes). Payment processing is handled by Razorpay; we do not store your card details, bank account numbers, or UPI IDs.
d) Material Donation
Full name, email, phone number, pickup address, and a description of items you wish to donate.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Volunteer applications: To review, contact, and coordinate with volunteers.
- Contact messages: To respond to your enquiries.
- Donation details: To process your contribution, send confirmation receipts, and arrange material pickup where applicable.
- Email communications: To send you confirmation emails related to the specific action you took (e.g., donation receipt, volunteer application acknowledgement). We do not send marketing emails or newsletters.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following services to operate our website. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Supabase — Database hosting for form submissions (volunteer applications, contact messages, donation records).
- Razorpay — Payment gateway for processing monetary donations. Razorpay handles all payment data in compliance with PCI-DSS standards.
- Resend — Email delivery service for sending confirmation and notification emails.
- Vercel — Website hosting and deployment.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.
5. Data Storage & Security
Your information is stored securely in our Supabase database with row-level security policies. All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS/SSL.
While we take reasonable precautions to protect your data, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as it is necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this policy, or as required by applicable law. Volunteer application data is retained for coordination purposes; donation records are retained for accounting and compliance.
